This famous round house was built for £3,000 after a ten year planning battle which led to new policy in the county to allow low impact development in the countryside. This has now spread to the whole of Wales and is called One Planet Development.

This house has a compost loo and a living roof providing fruit for wine and jam. All materials for construction were locally sourced apart from the pond liner (the most expensive item), part of the lighting, the clay and logs and earth floor. A very atmospheric house and the owner will tell his tale.
